We have compiled some resources that can help families find important information and services around Immigration. The purpose of this page is to provide general information about the rights of immigrant and refugee families, fillable emergency plans, a list of important documents for families, and resource guides. The majority of resources are available in both Spanish and English.
Immigration Affairs is an office composed of Bilingual (Spanish/English) Bicultural Social Workers that support the immigrant and refugee community within Dane County. Through their mix of knowledge about immigration policies and regulations, the office provides case management services to meet immediate and long-term needs of clients.

The Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) program temporarily offers financial assistance to refugees during their first eight months in the United States. The Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) program offers health insurance and medical assistance to refugees during their first eight months in the United States.
Emergency Services is a limited Medicaid/Medical Assistance benefit for documented immigrants who have not been in the U.S. for 5 years or more and for undocumented immigrants.
