Every other year Dane County Human Services is joined by the City of Madison Community Services, City of Madison CDBG and the United Way of Dane County in the consolidated application process. Dane County CDBG will also be participating in the application process this year, which will kick off with the Consolidated Application Workshops (details below). Dane County Human Services will accept applications only for programs listed to be bid for calendar year 2009 funding. Those DCDHS programs that are accepting applications for calendar year 2009 funding (assuming inclusion and exact funding level in the 2009 budget) are listed below.

All RFP's are due by June 6th, 2008 at noon.

General Information

Since this is a joint application year with the City of Madison, there are two workshop opportunities to discuss applications, RFPs and any other questions you may have. The first workshop is scheduled Thursday, May 1st, 2:00-3:15 p.m. at Warner Park Recreation Center, 1625 Northport Drive and a second workshop on Friday, May 2nd, 9:00 – 10:15 a.m. at the Madison Senior Center, 330 W. Mifflin Street. On May 1st, the list and description of programs that Dane County Human Services will bid for 2009 funding will be on this website. We have developed a 2009 short form application that you will also be able to find on-line at that time, with complete instructions as to the process. Please read carefully the information on the particular program you are interested in applying for, since some RFPs may require additional information with the application.

Providers who have contracts for programs not on the RFP list are not required to submit any information to continue as a provider. However, if you have recommendations for changes in your services, please discuss these with your contract manager.
