FoodShare Wisconsin was created to help stop hunger and to improve nutrition and health. FoodShare helps people with limited money buy the food they need for good health.
Who May Qualify and How to Apply?
Families and individuals with limited income and resources may qualify for FoodShare benefits. To check potential eligibility for FoodShare benefits and to apply, please visit this website: https://access.wisconsin.gov

Individuals 19 - 64 years old with no dependent children and individuals that have not been determined disabled through the Social Security Administration could choose to apply by phone at 1-800-291-2002 where the Enrollment Services Center will be processing your application.
The Dane County Department of Human Services will be processing the following applications:
- families with dependent children;
- individuals that have been determined disabled through Social Security;
- individuals that are younger than 19 years of age;
- individuals that are older than 64 years of age.
Residents of Dane County can call the Change Center at 608-242-7500 with general eligibility questions or by email at CRC@countyofdane.com.
